Hello North Island Choral Society Members:
You are invited to the Annual General Meeting of the North Island Choral Society. It will be held in our rehearsal space at the Comox Valley Presbyterian Church on March 17, 2026, at 6:15 pm.
You are receiving the material 2 weeks ahead of the AGM as dictated by our bylaws. Attachments include the 2026 AGM Agenda, Minutes of the last AGM, the Board-approved 2025 financial statement and 2026 Budget, and the President’s Report. If you cannot attend but would like to reflect on 2025, read the President’s report. If you want to know what things cost and where the money comes from, check the finances.
At every AGM the Board of Directors steps down if their terms have ended and declares if they wish to stand for re-election. As of this date the 2026 Nomination Slate is: Ruth Hibberson, Mary Gray, Robert Smith, and Barbara Huhn. Erika Hannan, Joyce Falkowski, Joanne Preston, and Mo May have one more term.
Our Director limit is 9 so there is room for one more person. You can nominate someone or even yourself. Please advise our Nominations person, Bea Dolphin (S). Approach her at choir or contact her via our website contact sheet. Ruth will pass on the message to Bea.
