I am Cornelis Brink’s daughter Nicky. I found your contact information in his emails. I thought I should reach out, in case you hadn’t heard, that Cornelis passed away somewhat unexpectedly on Christmas Eve after an unusual (and ultimately fatal) fall.

I know he very much enjoyed singing with the North Island Choral Society and my brothers and I were there to hear you all perform Carmina Burana last spring. He was sad to withdraw from the choir this fall, but it turns out he had severe pneumonia, so it’s understandable that singing was becoming difficult!
