Fall 2019 Concert “A Choral Advent”

and some sing-a-long carols – just because it is nearly Christmas.

For those who may be planning their Spring 2020 getaways, these are the dates of our Spring 2020 Concert.
We don’t want to miss you! Concerts will be on April 3rd 2020 at 7:30 p.m. and April 4th at 2:00 p.m.

Spring 2019 Concert – Brahms, Bach and Beethoven – The Three Bs

These are the three composers that were featured in our Spring 2019 Concert which was performed on  April 13th and April 14th at St. George’s United Church on Fitzgerald Ave., Courtenay. 

The music was Brahms’ Requiem, selections from J.S. Bach’s Cantata No 147 Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben,  and the first movement of J.S. Bach’s Violin Concerto in D minor played by Isabella and James Donn, and a piano piece, Elf Bagatellen, op. 119, #1 by Beethoven played by Danielle Bae.  Our four part choir with orchestra performed under the direction of Paul Colthorpe, accompanied by Elvera Penner and the NICS Orchestra. Our soloists were Carol Anne Parkinson Lisa Stephens Deith, Brian Lawrence  and and Christopher Bellamy,
